How To Download Music Videos Onto My iPod – An Easy Guide!

I know how the download music into my iPod but how do I download music videos?

This is a very familiar question which has a very simple and straightforward solution.

The first thing to consider when either playing music videos or movies on the iPod is the issue of compatibility. This sounds more complicated than what it really is but it’s absolutely vital to have a compatible download that will play on your iPod. It’s like trying to make Orange marmalade out of Lemons – it’s just not possible unless you have the files converted.

The best way to see if a movie or music video is compatible is to firstly open up the iTunes interface. You then source the video which you are looking to copy and select the ‘manage songs and playlists’ in the iPod tab in your iTunes preferences section. Once you have selected the tab then try and copy the music video file or movie file directly into your iPod library. If the music video or movie copies to the iPod then it will be compatible and you should be able to play it without any problems.

However, if the music video or movie does not copy directly to the iPod library it means you have a compatibility issue. This is not the end of the world it just means that if you really want this music video onto your iPod you’re going to have to convert it.

There are many converters in the market, many free but more of the decent ones will cost anything from $15-$35. Using this conversion method will mean that you have to convert the file in either a PC or notebook before transferring the file.

One thing that is important to know here is that if you have a Mac formatted iPod then you will only be able to add the file from a Mac and not from a Windows-based PC.

Another way of finding out whether a video is compatible is similar to the method above. I have found this method to be the most effective – you simply open up QuickTime (hopefully you have that already installed-if not, it’s free, just look up the QuickTime site and download it).

All you simply do, is open up QuickTime, select ‘window’ and click on short movie information. If the music video that you are looking to copy registers(shows up) in the information window-then it will be iPod compatible!

The easiest method!

There is an easier method to consider and this is the use of specialist sites which cater for iPod downloads. These are commonly referred to as unlimited download sites. The benefit of these sites, the reputable ones that is, is that they are not much more than $35 (lifetime membership). An iPod user can download music videos, movies and music from one source, virus free and the sites include conversion software as part of the package.

This means that you will be able to download music videos into your iPod with the least amount of hassle. Whilst, the selection of music, music videos and movies may not be as extensive as in iTunes most of these sites have very current movies and music videos on the database files. This means that you will have access to music video files which are ready to transfer directly to your iPod in nearly all cases.

Tribute Video Software Helps Bereaved Hold On To Life’s Special Moments

Creating videos has become a part of our lives. Marking special occasions, as well as everyday life events, these home videos capture life’s special moments.

A tribute video, a memorial to one who has passed on, is a fitting way to utilize these special moments caught on tape. When intertwined with other professionally created tribute video clips, photos of the loved one who has passed, sentimental sayings, captions and appropriate music – a DVD tribute video becomes a special memorial keepsake.

Your funeral director can assemble a DVD tribute video for you to share with others, memorializing the one you loved. With funeral software designed especially to create tribute DVD’s, the funeral professional can put together a moving homage to a life. Unlike like any other movie, a DVD video tribute captures the heart and soul of a loved one.

Tribute video software allows a funeral professional to scan in photos, upload videos and music, and enter text. Families can choose a theme that represents a professional or occupation, a hobby, a pastime or a passion. The theme ties together all of the media has been lovingly chosen.

The top-of-the-line funeral software even features movie-like, professionally produced introductions and endings, in a variety of themes, that add impressive, polished starts and finishes to memorial DVDs. Such funeral software allows the funeral director to add a photo that blends into the atmosphere of the movie clip, creating a truly personal tribute.

Imagine, for example that you want to illustrate a man’s love of classic cars. Choosing a tribute video movie clip that depicts a drive along a beautiful stretch of highway, and insert a photo of him at his smiling best captures his spirit. Or perhaps we’re celebrating the life of a young child. By choosing a clip of teddy bears and showers of flowers, with a photos of her in her prettiest dress at a birthday party and images of other special occasions will imprint the essence of that young life.

A DVD tribute video helps families preserve and remember special occasions like weddings, baptisms, birthdays, and anniversaries. A combination of video clips and still photographs will truly personalize a tribute video capturing even the ordinary moments that make up our lives: toddlers frolicking in an inflatable pool, a dad bathing a reluctant dog, a child taking his first solo bike ride.

With all the movies and pictures we take, we create a record of an entire life. When that life ends we can look back at it through these DVD tribute videos and remember, smile, laugh and shed some tears.

Given our culture’s love of cinema, professional or homegrown, a final and lasting tribute in the form of a very personal movie is truly a memorial that will have an impact on all who view it.
